The first time I made this cake I was up until 4 in the morning and I couldn't be prouder.  As a child, my Mom used to reward me with a rainbow sprinkle cookie picked up at our local bakery for good behavior/helping out with chores. This grew into an expectation that when I was good I would get a cookie.  Imagine the trauma I endured when I came to realize that being good soon became more of an expectation and less of something to reward with a rainbow sprinkle cookie! Well, like any experiences we've had as children, this one certainly stuck. So I bided my time, slowly growing older year after year until I turned 30 years old, started my own bakery, and now I get to have rainbow sprinkled anything whenever I want regardless of my behavior! And guess what?! Now you can to!
 
This colorfully decorated cake is not your ordinairy rainbow sprinkled covered cake.  It's a bit messy, with lots of sprinkles abound.  Minor parts of the cake may be left "naked" as well. It's fun, it's whimsical, and it's as delicous to eat as it is beautiful to look at.  Perfect for celebrating any occassion for both children and adults alike. Best of all, no unicorns were harmed in the making of this cake!
