Ube, also known as purple yam is a violet colored tubular. Ube originates from the Philippines but is found throughout Southeast Asia as well as Japan. The visually appealing vegetable has a vanilla-like taste with a hint of coconut and generally retains more moisture than your general sweet potato/yam that is orange colored and more commonly found in larger, more mainstream markets here in the US.

What we have here is a chewy, gooey, I Ube You to the Moon brownies and they're a hit! We added Ghirardelli White Chocolate Chips to the mix to add contrast to the already beautifully colored, deep purple color of the Ube Brownies as well as a smooth buttery taste to the naturally sweet Ube itself.

In honor of Valentine's Day where we celebrate love as well as appreciate our loved ones around us, we're delighted to introduce our White Chocolate Ube Brownies in the shape of heart 💜. Nothing says "Be Mine" like a purple colored, tantalizing, exquisite brownie filled with white chocolate chips. Right? My wife says so but I think she just wants me to bake more of these for her 💕🤣.

If you've never been able to travel to that other side of the world, we humbly invite you to begin your journey here with a bite of our White Chocolate Ube brownies. If you have ventured out to the edge of the earth, welcome back Explorer. Never cease to adventure!
